Problem with Site Listing

Technical DetailsHelp?

I hope this is the right place to post this...

My site has disappeared from the RPGGateway Site Listing. It was there for quite a while, but now I cannot find it (and the 'vote for this site' button no longer works, so I didn't just miss it). I didn't receive an email about it, it is a legitimate RP site, and I don't even know how to cheat in the voting, so...

It's a little odd, so I was curious if anyone might be able to help me out.

I think I might have modified the listing a little while back...do sites disappear from the listing perhaps while their being modified or if the modifying was not done correctly?

Sorry for all the questions, and thank you to anyone who may help.

~Tyrien

I had my FFRPG game "The LATTICE" listed on Effie for years, but it's vanished!

Did I lose all my votes? Is it restorable from a backup somewhere, maybe? Help!

Hi,
I have moved this thread to Help as it is the forum for asking questions about RPG Gateway. The Technical Details forum is for asking question about coding for your site.

Should have done this when I posted my original reply, but have been overworked by RL recently. Regular Smiley

and it's going to take Effie help. She's away just now, but I'm sure she'll look into when she gets back.

Obviously, you can resumit your sites, but as to the votes . . .yea. well. Let's wait and see. I'm not finding them anywhere, by title, url or id. . .

Wish I could be more help!

The first site has been restored from backup. Not sure, but I don't believe you will have lost your votes. You will certainly have retained your ranking.

The second site IS in the database. It is possible it has been moved ... we are trying to organize Play by Post - that is a very heavily used area and needs sorting. But it is there.

Does "Site 1 and Site 2" mean Jedi and Lattice respectively?
because the Lattice is still gone ...
.... and now CyberNation is also missing!:

Unable to find link with ID '6221'.
Unable to find link with ID '6587'.

I hope this is just a reorganizational issue, and we haven't lost our listings completely, let alone our votes.

Anyway, thanks in advance for anything you can do, and keep up the great site!

Site name Realm of Imagination
Site URL http://www.avidgamers.com/imagine/
Category I believe it was under Play by Post > Fantasy
Category editor If the above is correct, then the editor is Remmy
ID6285

It was there just a few weeks ago if I remember correctly. In fact I'm almost positive.

I've been going through PbP and removing sites that have been inactive for six months or don't follow our policy of open forums. http://www.avidgamers.com/imagine/ guest link wasn't showing a darn thing when I checked it. Just background info and nothing on the game. I see it's working now ... you are restored.

??? ... Exists: http://www.mysteryandmagic.com/cyber/
Redirects to: http://cybernation.mysteryandmagic.com/

And don't forget we had The LATTICE also:
http://lattice.mysteryandmagic.com/

Both exist, and both have lost their Effie listings Regular Sad

Should I just recreate the accounts and start over at 0 votes?
