Web Site structure as an image

Overstuffed Couch

I recently found this site with a Java Applet that creates visual representations of the structure of your site. It is interesting to see the finished image, but watching it 'grow' is quite fun as well.

It's a shame

we can't see what those pages are ... the highly concentrated ones seem like a place that needs to be broken up.

But way cool, nevertheless.

The URL is posted, each dot is a tag in the page

The images represent the URLs that I have posted with them. Each dot on the page represents a html tag.

The page with lots of dats has about 55 sites.

From the Applet page:

What do the colors mean?

blue: for links (the A tag)
red: for tables (TABLE, TR and TD tags)
green: for the DIV tag
violet: for images (the IMG tag)
yellow: for forms (FORM, INPUT, TEXTAREA, SELECT and OPTION tags)
orange: for linebreaks and blockquotes (BR, P, and BLOCKQUOTE tags)
black: the HTML tag, the root node
gray: all other tags
